Every year, Delta selects 5-10 high impact nonprofits as grant recipients. Successful grant recipients receive 4-6 months of free data consulting from data analysts, software engineers, and data scientists. If your organization shares our values and mission, let's work together to make a positive impact .
Our data fellows are paired with nonprofit grant recipients for 6 months to leverage data to drive impact. Data fellows volunteer their professional skills for good by helping nonprofits around the world accelerate their impact. Data fellows work in small teams with successful nonprofit grant recipients to answer interesting questions using data.
We believe that data is powerful, and that anybody should be able to harness it for change. Our teaching fellows have worked with students and instructors worldwide excited about the power of data to do good.
Every year, Delta Analytics partners skilled data scientists, engineers and analysts with nonprofits around the world for free. We provide a wide range of data-related services catering to non-profits big and small. Very few projects are straightforward but all start off with a question. Where is my funding coming from? How did my free after-school mentoring program impact test scores? How many people have we reached in the past 6 months?
Armed with a clear question, we can decide what services best illuminate an answer. That is why we start off with an application process -- we want to work with nonprofits who have a well-defined sense of what they want to achieve. Our potential services are described in more detail below.
If you have data but are unsure what to make of it, we can help transform the data into something meaningful. We can set up data management systems that let you pull important insights from the information at your fingertips.
Delta can run statistical analysis to help assess impact on measurable variables. For instance, we can tell an environmental organization how much waste it has reduced per dollar spent.
Understanding who you work with is crucial to maximizing your influence; Delta can analyze data to help you categorize your market. For example, we can track characteristics of donors, clients, or volunteers, and provide insights on the demographics of stakeholders.
Delta creates engaging graphs, charts, and tables to help you visualize data. These can be utilized for internal processes or to show off your organization's impact to the world.

In your professional life, you might serve as an economic consultant, a data scientist, data analyst, or a software engineer at a technology firm. Your technical skills and love of data have brought you professional success, and your drive to make an impact has brought you to us. It's time to focus your efforts on bringing the best in data to the nonprofit world.

The Delta Analytics Teaching Fellows have built and taught an accessible introduction to machine learning curriculum for students passionate about the power of data to do good. From 2017 to 2021, we worked on projects and initiatives aimed at making machine learning education more accessible at a global scale.
In 2017, we started our Teaching Fellows program. Our team of Delta Teaching Fellows partnered with Moringa School in Nairobi, Kenya to work with students from across Africa excited about using data to help their communities. We taught our class in-person, held office hours for the community, and visited organizations using data for social impact.
In 2018, we released our course content (theory and coding modules) for free. This year, our Teaching Fellows hosted brown bag lunches in the San Francisco Bay Area and created additional learning modules. With support from the US Embassy Rabat, we also partnered with DeepAfricAI and Moroccan Spacenauts to teach our course in Agadir, Morocco, and facilitate workshops and talks across Morocco.
In 2019, our focus has been on furthering our impact by supporting local partners, exploring active learning techniques, and adding materials to complement our curriculum. We still made time to teach and integrate more changes in our curriculum.
In 2020, we developed a new program aimed at supporting community leaders all over the world. Meet our first cohort of global teaching fellows.
In 2021, we supported our second cohort of global teaching fellows.
Delta Analytics is open to partnering with incubators, engineering schools, research institutions, and universities. We frequently teach workshops at conferences and aim to make machine learning accessible and empowering.
